Just because you sit at a desk for much of the day, don’t resign yourself to pain and muscle soreness. Starting with a variety of small adjustments, there is much you can do to position a more comfortable computer desk chair. White paint would be the easiest solution. All you need to do is repaint the desk. You may have to paint the entire surface though because it may look different from the rest of the white desk. Find a cleaner for wooden furniture. You should be able to find something that will work at the super market, (you certainly aren’t the only one silly enough to buy a white desk). Make sure you read the label to see if it will perform the way you want it to.
When purchasing an ergonomic office desk, there are certain features that are important. Make sure you find a desk that has an adjustable keyboard shelf which can be changed to suit the height needs for multiple users. The leading edge of the work surface on the desk needs to be between 24 to 27 inches high in order to allow for the arms of your chair. If this space is less than 24 inches, it will interfere with the armrests and could restrict movement.
